Guntur: A two-day international conference on ‘Science, technology, engineering and management’ (ICSTEM 2017) began at GVR&S College of Engineering here on Friday. JNTU principal KVNG Muralikrishna, Prof Dr Koratala Chandrasekhar, KL University dean Dr K V Narsimha Rao, Prof CH Rupa , A Dash, managing editor of IRAJ, and S Mahapathra, associate editor of IRAJ, lighted the traditional lamp.
Speaking on the occasion, deans and professors explained about the precautions to be taken during the research and while submitting research papers on current happenings and changes that taking place in the various fields.College director B S Srikanth Chowdary advised the students to be part of technological and economic development by entering research field.
Principal Dr Harikrishna Prasad said that students can enhance their skills by attending these type of sessions. He asked the students to participate in large numbers and make it successful.Various department heads, placement officer K Sairam, professors and students were present.
