Forestry\u00a0is a science of creating, managing, using, conserving, and repairing\u00a0forests, woodlands, and associated resources for human and environmental benefits. In other words the air we breathe to the wood we use, this is due to forestry. It\u00a0is practiced in plantations and natural stands. We use forest for providing livelihoods for humans &amp; animals, watershed protection, prevent soil erosion and mitigate climate changes. There are three different types of forests\u00a0found around the world: tropical\u00a0forests, temperate\u00a0forests\u00a0and boreal\u00a0forests.<\/p>\n<p>Forest engineering\u00a0includes working to ensure the health and sustainability of wild lands, timberlands and watersheds while allowing for such economic activities as\u00a0timber\u00a0harvesting and recreational use. It is the application of\u00a0engineering\u00a0principles and techniques to the management of\u00a0forest\u00a0lands.<\/p>\n<p>People who have the skills to solve\u00a0engineering\u00a0problems in the natural environment, while balancing socio, economic, and environmental requirements they are do better engineering planning for forestry. Forest engineers\u00a0construct and evaluate the operational systems that\u00a0make\u00a0the\u00a0forest\u00a0industry &#8216;work&#8217;. This work can include- Designing and building new roads.<\/p>\n<p>They provide ecosystem services that are critical to human welfare. These include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consuming harmful greenhouse gasses that produce climate change.<\/li>\n<li>Providing clean water for drinking, bathing, and other household needs.<\/li>\n<li>Providing food and medicine<\/li>\n<li>Protecting as a buffer in natural disasters like flood and rainfalls.<\/li>\n<li>Providing habitat to more than half of the world\u2019s land-based species.<\/li>\n<li>Preserving watersheds and reducing or slowing the amount of erosion and chemicals that reach waterways.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now-a-days environment polluted day by day due to artificial reasons as well as human activities. To protect the environment for the welfare purposes we have to arrange many more conferences regarding environment pollution among the world.
